Editorial review

The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 2.6
Driver Fusion is a feature-rich driver management solution created to help you easily perform various driver-related operations like install, uninstall, backup, restore, download, update, and fix drivers.

By updating the outdated drivers, fixing broken ones, or detecting and installing the missing ones, you can maintain your computer functioning smoothly and without errors, as the drivers are a very important part of any system’s performance level.

In my opinion, the best thing about this utility is its effective cloud-based removal engine that can thoroughly clean after uninstalled drivers and make sure that absolutely no files, registry entries, or other traces are left behind to mess up the installation of the new or the updating of the existing ones.

Anyway, as I mentioned for the previous versions of this otherwise handy tool, its interface could use a serious overhaul, as in its current form, it seems rather confusing and unintuitive. Another problem that I previously mentioned for the older versions of this tool, the fact that scan results were deleted every time I was accessing other areas of the interface, is unfortunately still there.

To sum it all up, this tool might be handy and powerful, but until it gets the interface refurbishing that I consider being so bad needed, I can only keep on delaying recommending it.

  • The cloud-powered removal engine that can delete the driver entries that are left behind by the normal uninstallers.
  • Can backup or restore the desktop icon layout.
  • Custom filters.

  • Unintuitive interface.
  • The scan results are reset every time a different function is accessed.
